What is actually going on underneath the surface? Just because we cannot see it, doesn’t mean it’s not there. That statement can be placed on a lot of contexts when it comes to environmental questions like climate change. Just take the unfortunate amount of rubbish lying on the ocean floor as an example. Or the emitted greenhouse gases. However, natural habitats for animals are disappearing. Forests areas decrease, shortages of fresh water, glaciers and icebergs are melting. Unfortunately, soon “just because we cannot see it” actually means that it is not there.
