One small step for man

As Neil Armstrong once said about the first landing on the moon -”That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. The same goes for trying to stop the climate crisis we are facing today. As many others, I often think how can I as one single individual even make a difference in such a widely spread problem across the whole planet. But if we all think that we can't, and leave it with that, how are things ever going to change? In that sense, taking the ”small step” of doing what you can do, it will eventually expand into a giant leap for mankind. With this painting I want to illustrate time for surrender, truce and desire to parley. And see if we can reach a reasonable point where we can meet halfway with our environment and live on a sustainable planet together with all other life on Earth.
