I usually don't post blog posts about commissions, but this time I want to make an exception. This painting and commission is very special to me - let me explain why.
A while back I left my base in Sweden to temporarily live in Germany with my partner and here started a very special chapter of our lives.
This is also where our paths crossed with Dr. Mirella Uhden, at her prenatal diagnostics practice in Düsseldorf. Where not only we discussed an artistic vision that came to life in form of this painting, but were given the opportunity to witness another form of life - our little miracle already taking shape into a beautiful little human. 
Creating the painting and watching it, fills my entire body with tranquility, peace and pride to also transform into this nurturing purple flower, a soon to be mother.
This is more than just art to me– it’s a deeply personal journey of transformation, just like pregnancy itself.
